In "The Rescue" novel, a handsome fireman, Taylor McAden is taking his risks to save many lives. However, he has a difficult time to deal with himself emotionally: He cannot be able to fall in love. Taylor enjoys to help any troubled women but he tends to leave them without explaining anything else. One day, the thunderstorm happens to hit awfully, Taylor comes to rescue a young beautiful woman, Denise Holton and her son. After that, Taylor and Denise strongly develop their love but Taylor has a hard time to express his love because he has hidden his pain in his past childhood. To receive Denise's help, Taylor must challenge his commitment - Love.
