In "Dear John" novel, two young adults fall in love with each other when they meet in North Carolina. They have experienced their true love; however, something is interrupting their loving relationship. John is ordered to deploy to the War; as opposed to that, Savannah is continued to study her education. They both have battled their long-distance relationship. When John returns home from the War, he determines to make deal with his feelings for Savannah since he reads the last letter from her. He must share the reasons with Savannah about the relationship and finds an answer as to why this has to end.
