"Love is A Verb: Stories of What Happens When Love Comes Alive" by Gary Chapman

Love is a Verb: Stories of What Happens When Love Comes AliveIn "Love is A Verb: Stories of What Happens When Love Comes Alive," the author, Gary Chapman wants to share this book with you because he writes each true story from other people who experience their love with their spouses, families, and friends. There are over forty stories that I advise you to read in Gary Chapman's book.

In this book, I read one of these stories, "The Changeling", which was about the younger boy who happened to be special child, Jonathan Flanders, because he unexpectedly had a stroke which damaged his brain. His mother, Louise, did not want to believe what the doctor said about Jonathan's health problems. She could not handle this happened; she and her husband tried to find some ways to deal with their son's situation. In the process of Jonathan's health, he improved his health and behaviors, since he used to behave angrily and screamed. Jonathan used to speak unpleasant words to his parents. At last, Jonathan entered in the Special Olympics; his mother, Louise, realized that how much her son, Jonathan's life, was very meaningful to her beautifully. When she saw Jonathan walking on the aisle to the graduation from high school, she was emotionally proud of him doing his best for his life. Finally, Louise realized that she could not stop loving her Jonathan Flanders. She changed and finally accepted who her Jonathan was. To share her heart with people with disabilities, she understood what people with disabilities had their limitations.

I strongly recommend this book because this may change your heart when you read this.
